Read this first. Adding a person to your company creates their login. It does not put them on any job. This is the single most common setup mistake in DirtView.

The two steps people collapse into one

Add them to the company (once)

Left menu → Employees. This creates their account and gives them a company role.Adding an employee

Add them to each job (every time)

Open the job → project team → add the person. Until you do this, they sign in successfully and see nothing.

Company role vs. what they can do here

Their company role (Foreman, PM, Admin…) is the ceiling — the set of things that role is ever allowed to do. Being on this job is what lets them do those things on this job.
So: “Why can’t José see the drawings?” is almost always step 2 missing, not a permissions problem. Check job membership before you start editing roles.
