# Reading your Dashboard

> Every number on the Dashboard counts your whole company, not one job. Each card is a shortcut to a filtered list.

<Note>
  **The short version.** These counts are **company-wide**. Every card is clickable and drops you into the matching list, already filtered.
</Note>

## The counts are company-wide

If your Dashboard says 12 open RFIs, that's 12 across every active job — not 12 on the job you had open last. To see one job's numbers, open the job and read its [Project Dashboard](/projects/project-dashboard) instead.

## Every card is a door

Don't read the Dashboard and then go hunting through the menu. Click the number. It takes you to the list it was counting, with the filter already applied.

## Edit and Customise are different things

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Edit" icon="pen-to-square">

  </Card>

  <Card title="Customise" icon="sliders">

  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Next

  <Card title="One job's numbers" icon="table-cells-large" href="/projects/project-dashboard">
