# Working in Spanish

> DirtView runs fully in English or Spanish — menus, forms and voice. Each person picks their own.

<Note>
  **Everyone picks their own language.** Your foreman can work entirely in Spanish while the PM works in English — on the same job, on the same RFI, at the same time.

## Switch your language

## What is translated

    What people type and what people upload. An RFI written in Spanish stays in Spanish. Drawings and specs are whatever the design team issued.

## Voice works in both

  Read the draft before you send it. If you dictated in Spanish and the RFI is going out in English, check that the sheet numbers, dimensions and quantities came across exactly.

## For admins setting up a bilingual crew

    Don't set it for them. It's a personal setting and it's one less thing for you to manage.

    Field labels are translated; **your own** wording in an instructional-text field isn't. On a form a Spanish-speaking crew fills out daily, put both languages in the label. → [Building a template](/forms/build-a-template)
