<Note>
  **The short version.** You connect Procore once, then queue the projects you want. Imported projects come in **read-only**.
</Note>

## The three states

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Queued" icon="clock">
    Waiting its turn. Nothing has been imported yet.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Running" icon="spinner">
    Importing now. Leave it alone.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Imported" icon="circle-check">
    Done. It shows as checked, and it's read-only.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Why imported projects are read-only

Because Procore is still the system of record for them. Read-only means you can see the data without two systems disagreeing about who owns it.

## Cancel Queue

Removes what's still waiting. It doesn't undo what's already imported.

## Connect it

<Steps>
  <Step title="Connect your Procore account">
    An Admin does this once, at the company level.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the projects you want">
    Start with one. Import it, look at what came across, then queue the rest.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Queue them and let it run">
    Large projects take a while.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Don't queue forty projects on your first try. Import one, check it against Procore, then do the rest.
</Tip>
